Praise for 'The Girl in Peckham & Kowloon':

“After the end of Portuguese Macau all the memories start fading and each time an old person dies is a moment of no return. That’s why your interpretation is so valid and useful.”

Written with the eye of an artist – full of vivid images, colours,
shapes and smells –this book had me completely engrossed.
Its evocation of the London of the early 1980s struck me as
being as accurate as it was vivid. But I also learned something
new about the wider world and the movements of peoples,
which have shaped our times. A recommended read.
